Living Room Inspirations

We just love the colour pallet in this living room installation of one of our recent projects. The light neutral furniture and rug beautifully contrasts with the dark timber floors. This created a tranquil and spacious feel.

Easy and Affordable – Kitchen Restyling Ideas

Easy and Affordable – Kitchen Restyling Ideas

Are you tired of the way your kitchen looks, but you don’t have the time or money for a complete renovation?

There are easier and more affordable ways to give your kitchen that much needed make-over, here are a few tips:

1 – Declutter

We understand a kitchen should be functional, however, stacking all your appliance on your kitchen bench is not really conducive to a tranquil and relaxing environment. Keep only one or two of your most used items (i.e. kettle, microwave, cookbook, spice rack, coffee machine) on the bench top. Then store your most used items in easy to reach cupboards. This may also be the opportune time to give away some of your equipment to charities or even sell it at a cash converter to go towards your kitchen revamp budget.

2 – Create your own Vignettes

A vignette is a small grouping of objects that creates a pleasing focal point. We use this in our property styling installations and it works wonders for a kitchen. This is a great way to draw the eye to a spot you would like to highlight in your kitchen.

3 – Get advice from professionals

Sometimes getting advice from professions can save you a lot of money, time and also give you fantastic ideas to work with. Professional stylists can help you think outside the box to achieve that ‘wow’ impact in your kitchen for minimal spend.

At Let’s Revamp we provide consulting services starting from an affordable $150 for a one hour in home consultation. We can provide you with tips, tricks and ideas on how to revamp your kitchen affordably for the biggest impact.

Mushroom – The Colour Taking Over Homes in 2017

Mushroom – The Colour Taking Over Homes in 2017

It makes sense – grays and beige colours have been around for a while and are still some of the most popular interior paint colours out there. Mushroom colour is warmer than gray but cooler than taupe. This neutral, earthy shade seems to be popping up everywhere!

Here are a couple of ways to how to make the colour work in your home:

1 – Contrast Trim -> Flip the script (dark walls, white woodwork) and try the reverse

2 – Cozy Cabinetry -> The practical tone can add a bit of sophistication to hardworking spaces

3 – Floor rug -> Use bold printed rugs in mushroom tones to spice up a room
